Serving our neighbors since 1983

More than enough, for everyone.

We're the Winlock-Vader Food Bank — a grocery-style pantry, an always-open outdoor deck, and a bistro upstairs that feeds it all. No one is ever turned away.

“We have more than enough for our community. The more we serve, the more we get.”
— RyLee Camps, Food Bank Manager

Ways to be part of it

Whether you need food this week, want to help put it on a neighbor's table, or just want a great sandwich — there's a place for you here.

Our mission

Food with dignity, for anyone who needs it.

The original Winlock-Vader Food Bank building

Founded in 1983 by Peter Wolf and Stan & June Taloff, the Winlock-Vader Food Bank serves about 150 families — roughly 400 people — every month across Winlock, Vader, and Ryderwood. No matter where you're from, you're welcome here.

Inside, it works like a small grocery store: carts, shelves, real choices based on your household size. Our outdoor deck is stocked and open 24/7 — just stop by, sign in, and take what you need.

How the deck works

Food available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Our outdoor deck has no appointments, no paperwork, and no set hours — it's open around the clock. Any time of day or night, you're welcome to stop by, sign your name and household size, and take what you need.

It's the quietest way to get help, and it's available to everyone.
