The shelves are full. The lights still need to stay on.

Our community gives roughly $90,000 a year, and every dollar stretches. Cash is what keeps this food bank open — here's why.

Why cash?

We're already well-stocked on rice, oats, and beans.

Between the Lewis County Food Bank Coalition, Northwest Harvest, God's Portion, and generous local donors, our shelves are in good shape on the staples. What we need is flexibility.

Cash does what food can't. It buys fresh produce, dairy, and proteins as we need them. It keeps the building running — power, phones, fuel for the van. It lets us say yes to a neighbor with a specific need.

One dollar given to us goes further than one dollar spent on groceries anywhere else. Simple as that.
